Construction manager for Farm Meadows Subdivision, West Jordan, Utah. Responsible for the installation of all site improvements. Sewer, water, roads, curb gutter, sidewalk and all utilities. Approximately 60-lot subdivision
Construction manager of the West Point Subdivision in Salt Lake City, Utah. He supervised installation of site improvements and the construction of 3 model homes. 143 lot subdivision.
Construction superintendent for Prowswood and executed the construction of the Danbury Lane Condominium community in Bountiful, Utah. (44 units) He performed critical path scheduling, subcontractor administration, quality control inspections and customer service responsibilities. He was also responsible for the installation of the road systems and underground utilities. Landscape and pool/clubhouse.
John was construction superintendent executed the construction of the underground and surface site improvements, plus 148 living units in Carriage Crossing Condominium in Bountiful, Utah. He performed critical path scheduling, subcontractor administration, quality control inspections and customer service responsibilities. Landscaping and pool/clubhouse.
He constructed John and Shirley Carmack custom residence in Federal Heights, Utah

John and his father Richard Prows are recently developed the Farmington Preserve. A 142 acre project consisting of a 40 acre wetland preserve and walking trails, a small park, 35 acre retail mall site with zoning for a 600,000 square foot Business Park and 200 unit condominium project all with in the Master planned “Farmington Preserve.”

John is the President and owner of QMS, a comprehensive construction management system designed for building contractors, remodelors, do it yourself builders and people wanting to control the construction process. It is available on CD ROM and is also an internet based system allowing the end user to view and work on his or her project at any location.
QMS has many installations within the western United States and has installations as far east as China. QMS offers training and many other services.

John is a graduate of Bountiful High School (1981)
He completed 2 years at Salt Lake Community College - Business and Finance
He earned Graduate Builders Institute (National Home Builders Association) certificates in:
- Construction and Contract Law, Scheduling, Project Management, Building Technology, Business management and Estimating and Concrete.
John worked under Richard Prows’ tutelage (owner, all Prowswood companies) while developing and earning his professional construction education
John assisted his father, Richard, in the authoring and development of the National Home Builders Association/Home Builders Institute Quick Management System (QMS) by contributing valuable recommendations and utilization testing. Time and money.
